Ms word section break. They allow you to change formatting aspects that would otherwise be the same throughout a document such as page orientation margins columns headers and footers. Insert a section break click where you want a new section to begin. If you want to add a page break click.
Next page section break starts the new section on the following page. If you re still using 2003 choose break from. Click on the insert tab at the top left side of the ribbon menu bar.
Add a section break select where you want a new section to begin. Go to home show all nonprinting characters. The section breaks that you ve added will start and end with something similar to this.
To insert a page break in microsoft word 2013 place the cursor in your document just after the last place you want to be included on the current page and just before the first place you want to be located on the next page. In the pages group select page break. Next page section break starts the new section on the following page.
Choose the type of section break you want. In the page layout page setup section click breaks. When you ve added section breaks in your document the easiest way to see where they begin and end is to first display all formatting marks.
In the page setup group click the breaks option and choose an option. Go to layout breaks. To insert a section break position the cursor and click the page layout tab.
