Sections Of The Sat

However studying hard in school isn t enough to succeed on the sat. The sat is comprised of two sections. Each of these sections is scored on a scale from 200 800.
For the majority of sat takers however verbal and math scores were below 500. In 1992 half of the college bound seniors taking the sat were scoring between 340 and 500 on the verbal section and between 380 and 560 on the math section with corresponding median scores of 420 and 470 respectively. You need to learn the ins and outs of the test.
There are three main sections on the sat. During the first 25 minute sat math section you are not allowed to use a calculator. As more and more students have opted out of taking the sat essay this experimental section has become more common.
